“I joined TransformHERS four years after having my twin boys. Before that I had always been more of a team sport type of person and had never been to a gym or done any solitary specific training. After having my children and having minimal support (not from SA and no family here) and a full time job, keeping fit took a back seat for a long time. When my kids turned 3 and I was 2-3 sizes larger I decided it was time I do something. I tried a gym for about two months and quickly realized that the lonely discipline of a gym was just not my thing. A friend then told me about TransformHERS. The idea appealed to me very much. Bootcamp and outdoors, why not?  I tried it that once and never turned back. I love the variety, the support from the whole group, the laughs we have, the friendships we have made.  And most of all I get upset with myself (more specifically my work commitments) when I miss a session. All in all it has been a fun, disciplined way to get my fitness, strength and health back. There were things I could never do before I joined and now I can rock a hula hoop while chatting, laughing and walking all at the same time. When I first saw what a burpee was I thought I would die. But today I can take a minute burpee challenge on and hold the record at TransformHERS with 35 burpees in a minute! The bottom line is I feel great and I enjoy every workout. Oh, and on a side note, I lost 3 dress sizes and I feel STRONG!  You have to try this. It's inspirational!!!”
